Interview with Dr. Pallavi Rathi: Consultant Dermatologist, Cosmetologist & Trichologist – MySkin MyHealth, Member – WEE
Q: What inspired you to start your own business?
A: After my Post graduation in the field of Dermatology & Cosmetology I was working at Kaya Skin Clinic as Senior Consultant. During that period I realized that having a beautiful skin is everybody’s dream but unaffordable to many. That’s the time I decided I would start my own. This not only gave me more job satisfaction but at the same time helped me to cater to those who could not afford.
Q: What hurdles came across in beginning?
A: Being not from Mumbai, my struggle started with hunting the place, marketing, getting the required machines everything was a task. But gradually things worked and over a period of time and I could establish my own set up My Skin My Health.
Q: What is Your Struggle Story?
A: No profession comes without its challenges. Moreover struggle increases more if you are a woman. Being a mother of an adorable princess my professional life was no different. Struggling between my weird hours of working, managing home and a kid with no back up at home was not a cakewalk.
Q: What is your business into?
A: We at My Skin My Health cater to all Skin, Hair & Cosmetic needs for both men and women. We deal with all skin ailments like Vitiligo psoriasis, Eczema pediatric, skin problems along with all cosmetic issues like acne, scars, pimples, aging, hair fall, hair loss etc. We have a dedicated OT set up for dermatosurgery and Hair Transplant.
Q: How would you like to help your fellow members / or contribute towards society?
A: I would definitely like to help fellow members in their journey towards achieving their dream. I would extend all my professional help whenever required for fellow members or my society to the best of my capacity.
