Q: What inspired you to start your own business?
A: Since my teens, I had an instinct of starting my own venture. In my school days, I knew that would be the road I’ll take. Even before getting married while dating, I spent hours talking about it with my spouse. After getting married both of us started working for different sectors and finally in the year 2013, I knew the time has come for us to take the leap of faith and we both left our secure jobs to pursue the unknown and the rest is history.
Q: What is Your Struggle Story?
A: TopCubit was bootstrapped, so no money from mommy and daddy and our families were against leaving the jobs while we just started our married life. It was started from a small rented flat in Delhi. First year was really tough, there was a time when my landlord gave me an ultimatum to vacate the premise, that time it was only 3 months since we started. There were times when there was tea but no milk. We were confined to our home, no visits to relatives but our love grew stronger towards each other and perseverance towards making this successful. For me, TopCubit is our baby. Before we shifted our office to the IT hub of Noida, where the tech giants like TCS, CSC and Accenture are located, hiring right people was a challenge and for a start-up it still is. Finding the right team is so challenging and critical for the success of a start-up.
I had no SEO knowledge but I still remember bringing a client’s business on page 1 of Google way back in 2013, thank God now we have a great team in place.

Besides it, I am associated with Women Entrepreneurs Enclave (WEE) which is established with a vision to support female entrepreneurs thereby enhancing betterment of society. I met Ms. Chaitali Chatterjee in an event in Mumbai and since then we both kept in touch over the WhatsApp group and became a part of WEE. There were many other groups which are encouraging Women entrepreneurs but the charisma and the vision I saw in Chaitali pulled me in WEE
