My husband and I started the business 5 years ago when we realized that the web was becoming more visual. All brands, big or small, would need a video to tell their story, explain their products and services or market on their digital channels. The biggest challenge was figuring out the business Conceptualizers and writers and the next challenge was executing the videos exactly as envisioned and on time. In the early days, it was a real struggle to find clients, get the work thoroughly done and manage cash flows. The biggest daunting task was to handle the upbringing of 2 little kids simultaneously along with the Organization. It was hard juggling 12 hour work days and then being present and attentive to the kids. Over the next few years, we formulated a digital and offline marketing strategy to always have a solid pipeline; we hired slowly but consistently, put processes in place and grew the business.
We also launched www.layaslist.com, a curated list of homestays and hotels across India and showcased them beautifully via professionally shot video. The website helps travelers’ shortlist properties that most accurately reflect their idea of a dream holiday. It’s been a long road but there’s great momentum now and we love what we do!
