Movie Review

Zero: Comedy and dialogues are the star of the film.

SRK’s latest film Zero, which could have been that one in a million film about the insecurities, dreams, and aspirations of imperfections in people and their responsibilities to support even while searching for there dreams and goals, emotional situations, their inability to connect with others because they haven’t quite bonded with themselves and also the confidence to face others. It could have also been a fantastic opportunity to cut down to size the larger than life romantic of SRK, to bring his labour of love and longing down to earth. I did see heartening glimpses and innocent love of it in Zero. The ‘Mere Naam Tu’ song and dance on the wheelchair seemed to point at the possibility of love, intimate relationship, and innocent soft love.
On the other side, take the physical difficulties and situations of the leads Bauua’s SRK dwarfism and Aafia’s Anushka Sharmaaway and the film ends up playing on the same old type of commitment phobia. Katrina, on the other hand, looked good and she danced well in the songs.

The director of the film Aanand L. Rai mostly concentrated on comedy. And the comedy was very good in the film. The dialogues of the film are crisp. The cameos are entertaining and Sha ruk khan has convincingly pulled off his role with ease and versatility.

In a short brief nutshell zero is a one-time watch movie which will inspire a lot of people to respect what they have in there lived and to be happy in whatever they have.
