Cross-party Brexit talks collapse as leaders fail to reach deal

The Brexit talks between the Labour and Conservative parties aimed at arriving at a compromise have collapsed without reaching a deal.

Delay in Brexit had prompted talks between UK PM Theresa May and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to see if the parties could come to a Brexit agreement.

The two parties have differed on issues including holding second Brexit referendum.
