Mughal Garden: A Heritage Pride since Mughal Era

India has numerous gardens famous for their respective specialties and appeal but Mughal Garden stands apart from the rest by its sheer importance & location (i.e. The Political Capital of India).

It is worth visiting once and highly recommended for visit during a trip to Delhi. The opening time for Mughal Garden in 2017 is from 5-Feb to 12-March for public. However, generally it opens for public from 12-Feb to 19-March every year. Mughal Garden is a group of beautiful gardens built by the Mughal in Islamic style of architectures which is located in the backyard of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the Indian President.

Mughal Gardens is one of the top attractions in Delhi (Heart of the city). It is extensively widespread and occupied with numerous plants (medicinal or herbal, fancy etc), trees and variety of flowers. In certain sections, there are water fountains which make it even more vibrant in look. The best part is that all the varieties have got its name with placards for the visitors and hence quite helpful for them. One is bound to feel refreshed after the visit. Hence, it is advised to make a visit with your loved ones, near and dear ones, members of family and friends. One is sure to cherish for the lifelong after the visit. The absolute beauty and grandeur of this unique garden would surely leave you speechless.

Rashtrapati Bhavan is going to host the ‘Festival of Innovations’ in collaboration with the National Innovation Foundation (NIF), a week-long event. The festival (March 12 to March 19) will be unwraped with the inauguration of an exhibition of innovations by President Pranab Mukherjee. It would remain open for the public, including visitors to the Mughal Garden, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., officials said. The festival will also have three exhibitions, two workshops, four group discussions, two award presentation ceremonies and a roundtable on various topics such as inclusive innovation; innovation and skill development; and incentives for innovation in public policy and programmes, among others.
