Report : India, Pakistan increasing size of their nuclear arsenals

India and Pakistan are increasing the size of their nuclear arsenals while also developing new systems, a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) revealed.

The overall number of nuclear warheads in the world has decreased but the nuclear powers are modernising their arsenals. Nine countries possessed an estimated 13,865 nuclear weapons in 2019, 600 less from 2018.
